William (Bill) Proctor was another tour member on the Gate 1 tour of China. He is a better photographer, in general, than either of us plus he has a better camera. He has graciously allowed us to post some of his pictures. We took pictures at the same places shown below, but his are better.

Acrobatic Show - Shanghai

We went to this show in Shanghai after our first full day of touring. Bill's pictures are much more clear than either my pictures or my jet-lagged, fade-in-and-out-of-consciousness memories.

You could see these coffins on the cliff high from the ferry boat ride on our side trip up a Yangtze tributary. I wonder if any pall bearers ever fell to their death.
